Your day at Suntrap

Overview of day trip to Suntrap

Your session will be led by a member of the Suntrap team all of whom are experienced outdoor environmental teachers or tutors, have a science or geography degree and are first-aid trained.

What a typical day at Suntrap might look like:

  • met on arrival at Suntrap by staff and taken to your classroom  
  • your chosen activity will be introduced to children in the classroom
  • a short break for toilets, snack and borrowing wellies
  • your main activity will take place outside in the forest or Suntrap grounds
  • lunch will be in the classroom or in Suntrap garden and supervised by school staff 
  • if full-day option has been chosen then afternoon session begins after lunch

High season (March to October) £419+plus VAT per class
Low season (November to February) £378+plus VAT per class

A Level/IB (recommended times 9am to 4pm) A Level / IB LBWF school £33+VAT per student per day
minimum charge is £396+VAT (12 students per day) ​

Non LBWF school £34+VAT per student per day minimum charge is £408+VAT (12 students per day)

Must haves for activities

  • sun cream
  • sun hat
  • any medical equipment required for the day
  • lunch for the day
  • you may also want to pack your spare jars for honey.
