Currently we’re only taking individual family bookings for those living in the same household of no more than six individuals.
Full payment must be made at least 28 days before your camp. In case of late changes to Coronavirus guidance, we are offering complete flexibility to move bookings for up to 18 months, subject to availability of pods.
If it is necessary for you to cancel or amend your booking, please inform Suntrap in writing as soon as possible. Cancellations or amendments will only be in place once Suntrap has responded to your request.
There is no shop on site. All food during your residential is included in the charge.
We’ll provide you with an out of hours emergency phone number when you arrive.
We do not provide 24-hour security. Your pod(s) have a lock. We advise you not to bring any expensive items and if you do bring them please do not leave them on display.

We will have a team member at Reception from 12:30 – 13:30.
We ask that all visitors respect other site users and our neighbours and ensure that noise is kept to a minimum after 22:00. We’re sure being out in the fresh air all day you’ll be sleeping like a log after this time.

No, however we recommend families choose to book a family-themed activity stay they think is suitable for their children.
No there are no car parking facilities on the camping field, however there is limited on- site parking at Suntrap a short walk from your pod.
As much as we love animals, we have a no pet policy.
Yes, you will be provided with a key when you book in.
No, there are no sockets in the pods. We encourage families to leave their techie gadgets at home. We do have sockets & wi-fi available in the Camping Lodge, so you’ll not be completely cut off!

There are no individual campfire pits or BBQs unless part of a themed activity.
Please do not come to Suntrap if you have Covid-19 symptoms or have been asked to self isolate due to contact with someone with Covid-19. We will offer you an alternative date. On arrival everyone will have their temperature checked. Click here to see further information about covid-19 procedures.
We ask you to bring your own bedding and pillow, wash kit & towel, torch and appropriate outdoor clothing and footwear.

Yes we have bicycle stands available, and would encourage you to arrive by bike. The forest has many safe traffic free paths on which you can cycle.
There are accessible pods available. However please be aware that although our site is accessible once we go out into the forest the ground is very uneven with many trip hazards.
No, Forest Explorer Camps are an exclusive offer.
Wi-fi is available in the Camping Lodge, but we encourage families to leave gadgets behind at home.

Getting outdoors in all weathers is part of the Suntrap experience!
No. However during the activity sessions all Suntrap tutors leading activities have first aid training.
