Eco learning for schools and colleges

Eco education is critical in helping young people understand the impacts of climate change, encourage a change in attitudes and behaviour needed to address the causes of climate change, adopt more sustainable lifestyles and develop skills that can protect the environment.

Poppy Flint our Climate Action Outreach Coordinator can support any Waltham Forest school or college on each step of the way to apply for the nationally recognised accredited Eco-Schools Green Flag.

Get in touch with poppy.flint@walthamforest.gov.uk to learn more about how Waltham Forest council is financially supporting schools to achieve their Green Flag and do inform us when you have registered.
