Suntrap Forest Centre is nestled within 7 acres of blissful garden and buzzing habitats in Epping Forest. We have welcomed schools (from early years to A level), adults, families and community groups to explore the natural environment under the guidance of our expert staff since 1967.
Epping Forest contains some of Britain’s last remaining fragments of ancient habitats and trees, making it the perfect location to experience the outdoors, connect with nature, and learn about the climate & ecological crisis.
On a visit to Suntrap we hope to equip all our visitors with age-appropriate knowledge and experiences; helping them to make choices to protect the environment going into the future.
Following Government advice we are cancelling all school visits & events until further notice. Please follow our Twitter and Facebook accounts for up to date information.
Don't forget that as long as you are not showing any symptoms Epping Forest is a great place to go for a walk. Use the area of forest nearest to you and ensure you maintain a distance of at least 2 meters from other forest users. We are lucky to have this amazing green space on our doorstep.
